Rosendal is the administrative centre of Kvinnherad, municipality in Hordaland county, Norway. The village is located on the southern shore of the Hardangerfjord, not far from the Folgefonna glacier and national park. The village is especially known for the Barony, a historic estate located in the village. Scandinavias smallest castle! The old Kvinnherad church is also located in this village. 

The village is also known for is beautiful green valleys, steep mountains, summits and scenic drive along the fjord passing boathouses and wooden docks.
